Have one-place settlement for KPs: KPC
Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC), discussing about the plight and problems of the displaced KP community in a meeting at New Delhi, on March 14 last, stated that the only viable and acceptable solution for rehabilitation of homeless Kashmiri Pandits in exile is the creation of one- place settlement in the valley which will enable them to fulfill their aspirations and get their long-pending demand fulfilled.
The meeting stated that the main purpose of such resolution was to end the Islamist crusades against the Hindus of Kashmir, when both the Indian and J&K governments, ignored and isolated them and have acted irresponsibly and callously towards the KP microscopic minorities. This community, being nationalists to the core, has cost itself hugely in terms of being hounded out, harassed and humiliated.
KSD in their meetings with MHA and higher authorities have been demanding for separate homeland as the parity still continues with our community. Our voting rights have been ignored though being the original, inhabitant of the state. The community in exile living outside Jammu and other parts are being deprived of benefits offered to migrants in Jammu like Ayushman Bharat, Domicile etc.
